The Talent and Compensation Analyst of the Oracle HCM COE will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the Talent and Compensation modules within the Oracle Cloud HCM (SaaS) Application suite, including application configuration, release management, cyclical business processes, and ongoing support and projects. This position acts as a subject matter expert, partnering closely with HR, IT, and business leaders to drive innovation, improve user experience, and ensure the integrity and performance of Talent and Compensation systems and processes. The ideal candidate must have technical background in HR application platforms, display excellent analytical and communication skills, and work well with diverse cross functional teams. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast-paced environment.
Your Key Job Functions
• Serve as the functional and technical expert for by supporting the Cloud HCM Application suite, including all HCM modules - Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time & Labor, Compensation, Recruit, Journeys, and Talent Management with the primary accountability over Talent and Compensation
• Collaborate with HR and business partners to understand requirements, design scalable solutions, and implement process improvements to support efficient processes
• Configure and thoroughly test application functionality for all modules, including setup & maintenance, plan changes and configuration modifications
• Support the release management cycle for quarterly release upgrades from Oracle - review release notes, assess impact, coordinate regression testing and guide functional teams through upcoming changes and adoption of new features
• Participate in requirements gathering for both application changes and integration development
• Provide and update techno-functional documentation as needed for new and existing applications such as configuration documentation, business process workflows, test scripts and training materials
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, data governance, and information security standards
• Ability to create OTBI Reports to analyze employee data, identify trends, monitor system performance and deliver actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
• Support the design, development, and end-to-end testing of integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and internal/external systems, ensuring data accuracy, seamless information flow, and reliable system performance
• Strong analytical skills; problem solving and follow-through with sense of accountability
• Ability to lead discussions and provide recommendations across both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Build knowledge of Oracle Cloud application roadmap to maintain strategic oversight in support of the business
• Ability to work with limited supervision and provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts
• Work with other IT teams, functional partners and 3rd parties in support of HCM Application portfolio
What You Bring to the Team
• Bachelor's degree / Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred
• 5+ years of IT application experience with large organizations with the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions (retail/restaurant industry preferred)
• 2+ years of proven technical experience with Talent and Compensation Oracle HCM SaaS applications including system analysis, implementation, and support
• Strong understanding of Talent and Compensation business processes and best practices with acute attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for navigating change with positive attitude, helping clients define business solutions, and working effectively with IT senior management
• Prior experience working with vendors and 3rd party resources to manage deliverables with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated problem solver and driven team member comfortable working in remote team environment
