The line for happy starts here.

Here at Brinker we pride ourselves on hiring the best people in the business and then helping them go on to great things. Whether you work for Chili's, Maggiano's or as part of our Restaurant Support Team you're part of our family and we will do everything we can to help you succeed.

It doesn't matter if you think of your job as a stepping-stone on your path to glory or an investment in your long-term professional development, we've got great opportunities that are perfect for you! Yes, you'll work hard. But more important, you'll work happy.

Here are three great examples of team members who started their careers in Brinker restaurants and have continued to do great things for us.

Kelly Tynan

At Brinker we build great people into great leaders, like Kelly Tynan, our 2012 above-restaurant leader of the year. (Kelly also holds the distinction of being the first to hold that title, we thought that was cool.) From beautiful Denver, Colo., Kelly started with Brinker as a cook back in 1978, back when Chili’s only had four restaurants. As Chili’s has grown into the leading grill and bar restaurant in the world, Kelly has grown with us and moved all the way up to area director. Kelly’s passion echoes Chili’s passion: making people feel special. Do you have what it takes to deliver a great experience for your team members and guests? Apply now.

Charles Legan

Like Kelly Tynan, Charles Legan started as a server and has recently been promoted from general manager to area director. Charles, Chili’s 2012 five-star general manager of the year, is a rock star and a real pillar in his community in Manteca, Calif., helping to coach basketball at the local high school in his time off. On top of all that, Charles is a consummate family man, who is committed to his wife and five children. Charles is a great example of our culture at Brinker: Life is Short. Work Happy.

Michael Marsico

Michael Marsico has been in and around Maggiano’s for most of his life. When he was a teenager, Michael’s mother got a job as a server at Maggiano’s Oakbrook and a few year later Michael started as a coat checker. While attending college at DePaul University in Chicago, Michael worked part time as a server and eventually worked his way into management. Now, Michael is Maggiano’s five-star general manager of the year at our Indianapolis restaurant. Michael is a great example of the passion Maggiano’s teammates have for serving guests not only great food, but great experiences. Are you ready to serve with him? Apply now.

And not to brag or anything, but there's no place like Brinker. We are consistently recognized as an employer of choice, and we have a few awards to show for it.
