Job Summary

This position is with the Restaurant Technology Systems "RTS" Team at Brinker. The resource should be able to lead the RTS Development efforts at Brinker. The individual would be responsible for RTS related activities, Scripting, Development, Unit Testing and Support. Must be able take ownership of the current RTS environment and also guide the future direction of RTS in the organization. Must be able to work with Business Community to gather requirements and translate that to RTS strategy for implementation. Must be a team player with an ability to work with various groups within the IT department. The individual must have the ability work concurrently on multiple projects.

Your Key Job Functions

·         Develop, debug, deploy and maintain Restaurant Technology-related applications and mobile iOS applications.

·         Provide technical expertise in and across all technologies leveraged in the restaurant environment or across the eco-system.

·         Participate in the full software development life cycle for projects.

·         Translate business requirements into technical requirements and design/implementation specifications.

·         Should be able to identify technical gaps and potentials.

·         Should be knowledgeable enough on full technology concepts to drive discussion with business community and IT peers.

What You Bring to the Team

·         College degree - Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

·         5 years of working experience in supporting technical platforms in a customer/client-oriented service model.

·         Experience working in a technical capacity within a fast-paced environment supporting multiple software development projects and needs.

·         Expertise in Swift or Objective-C, and SwiftUI or UIKit.

·         Experience with AWS/GCP or other Cloud Management platforms.

·         Desired experience with scripting languages, most specifically PowerShell, but others are beneficial such as Python.

·         Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party libraries.

·         Leverage native APIs for deep integration with both platforms.

·         Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.

·         Ability to take a thoughtful, pragmatic, and efficient approach to problem solving.

·         Experience collaborating with product designers, especially in a remote capacity.

·         Passion to up-level yourself and those around you through curiosity and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

·         Knowledge of logical, physical technology modeling.

·         Should have good trouble shooting acumen and "can do" attitude.

·         Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.

·         Proven analytical and problem-solving ability.

·         Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly.

·         Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.

·         Work independently when required.

·         Strong customer service skills.
