Job Summary

The Senior Specialist on our Non-food procurement team will be responsible for executing the strategic purchasing activities for Non-food categories to support restaurant operations. They will develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners and suppliers to ensure timely processing and receipt of required materials, while maintaining strict compliance with company standards and SOX.   

Your Key Job Functions

  • Manage the end-to-end process for creating and issuing purchase orders using appropriate company methodologies and technology
  • Support New Construction, Facilities, Global teams by processing product requisitions and generating purchase orders
  • Monitor and communicate order information to requester (including confirmations, tracking, POD, etc.). Identify emergency orders and escalate as necessary
  • Coordinate with Category Managers to ensure all suppliers have sufficient products and that they can meet development schedules for Corporate & Franchisees requests
  • Organize and maintain information by sorting and filing documents
  • Ensure Oracle product and pricing catalogs are updated by working directly with Category Managers and suppliers
  • Provide updates to Supply Chain leadership on day-to-day processes and key initiatives (PO activity, monthly reports, etc.)
  • Lead multiple projects and product execution as it relates to the purchase process; 
  • Deliver timely resolution of issues in a positive and productive manner
  • Ensure compliance with Brinker?s Code of Business Conduct in dealings with all suppliers and distributors

What You Bring to the Team

  • 1-3+ years of supply chain experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred
  • Experience with foodservice equipment, furniture and fixtures, signage and related services is preferred
  • ?Self-starter? and customer service attitude, with the ability to work independently and multi-task, as well as collaboratively with a team
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP system strongly preferred
