Job Summary

The Director of e-Commerce and Engineering drives the development and optimization of e-commerce platforms for Chili's and Maggiano's focusing on delivering a seamless guest experience and revenue growth. 

Your Key Job Functions

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high performing team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative and results oriented culture.
  • Develop and execute the ecommerce, loyalty, and CRM platform strategy
  • Oversee the technical design and development of the ecommerce platforming, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security to handle high volume traffic.
  • Collaborate with product management to define technical requirements and delivery dates for new features and enhancements
  • Ensure best practices in software development, including code quality, testing and deployment processes.
  • Define performance metrics and success criteria for ecommerce engineering projects, ensuring high quality deliverables and efficient team operation.
  • Continuously monitor the performance, uptime, and speed of the ecommerce and loyalty platforms

What You Bring to the Team

  • 10+ years of experience in Software Development, with a strong technical foundation in Node.js, React, React Native, CI/CD.
  • 5+ years of experience leading software teams, with a proven track record of meeting commitments and delivering high quality software.
  • Extensive experience in building and scaling ecommerce platforms.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or similar field
  • Experience with cloud computing services - AWS and GCP
  • Experience working collaboratively with Product Teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels
