Job Summary

The IT Financial Analyst will partner with IT Leadership, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain and Operations to provide IT financial analysis and support. This will include invoice coding and processing for IT accounts, assist with monthly close processes, monthly actual vs. forecast analyses, annual financial planning, and other ad hoc financial analyses related to IT spend and projects.

Your Key Job Functions

  • Manage shared inbox of IT invoices, providing coding and processing support for various vendors to Accounting.
  • Assist with invoice coding and processing for IT accounts, ensuring accuracy through research and remediation.
  • Analyze invoices for alignment with IT contracts/agreements and proactively engage vendors for timely processing.
  • Assist with monthly close processes including providing accurate and timely accounting entries, accruals, allocations, and reclassifications.
  • Proactively search for process improvements in invoice processing and monthly close processes.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining monthly forecasts for IT expenses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial goals.
  • Assist with review and analysis of IT spend against forecasts, identifying changes for accuracy improvement.
  • Assist in annual financial planning for IT, collaborating with IT Leadership.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of accounting expense classifications including G&A expense, capital, amortization, etc.
  • Act as a liaison between Accounting, Supply Chain, and IT Leadership, fostering collaboration.
  • Undertake additional ad hoc projects and financial analyses as assigned.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting
  • 1-3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Ability to develop financial forecasts and summaries
  • Broad understanding of IT functions
  • IT Finance or IT experience a plus
  • Understanding of financial statements and accounting
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail and data quality control 
  • Possess proficient analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Work independently and effectively manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently; able to multi-task and adapt quickly to a dynamic work environment
