Job Summary
The Analyst, Payroll Tax will oversee complex day to day payroll tax compliance across the US and Canada.
What You'll Do
· Own all aspects of payroll tax operations, including U.S. and Canada
· Perform monthly, quarterly and year end tax balancing and reconciliations
· Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
· Investigate and resolve escalations; perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
· Conduct testing of Oracle Payroll Cloud tax updates and legislative releases.
* Troubleshoot Oracle payroll tax issues and coordinate with IT or Oracle support as needed
· Interface regularly with ADP Tax Services to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely filings
· Maintain process documentation, tax calendars, and SOPs related to payroll tax operations
What You Bring to the Team
· 4+ years of payroll experience, with a strong focus on tax compliance and payroll processing.
· In-depth understanding of payroll tax regulations, filings, and agency communications
· Experience working with ADP SmartCompliance or similar tax service providers
· Experience in Oracle Payroll Cloud, or similar payroll system
· Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
