Job Summary

The Director of Business Analytics is a strategic leader responsible for translating data into actionable insights that inform business decisions and drive profitable growth. Reporting into the SVP of Brand Finance, this role advances enterprise analytics capabilities that support performance management, investment optimization, and operational effectiveness.

This role leads analytics teams that partner closely with Finance, Marketing, Digital, and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate business performance, optimize spending, and improve decision-making across key initiatives. The Director ensures insights are rigorous, timely, and clearly connected to business outcomes, enabling leaders to prioritize resources and measure impact.

As both a people leader and strategic thought partner, the Director of Business Analytics balances analytical rigor with practical execution, shaping analytical frameworks, developing team capability, and delivering key data that influence planning, forecasting, and enterprise-level decision-making.

 

What You'll Do

  • Define and lead the enterprise customer and marketing analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with brand financial objectives and long-term business priorities.
  • Lead the integration of the consumer by synthesizing qualitative insights (attitudes, motivations, behaviors) with quantitative analytics to guide brand, product, and experience strategies.

  • Oversee the analytical vision and performance framework for the loyalty program, shaping data-driven strategies that improve acquisition, engagement, and lifetime value.
  • Build and scale advanced analytics capabilities, including predictive modeling, incrementality testing, media optimization, segmentation, and customer value analysis.
  • Lead development of high-visibility executive reporting that synthesizes sales, profit, customer trends, and marketing impact into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, curiosity, and analytical excellence.
  • Improve data literacy across the organization by championing best practices and enabling access to reliable, scalable insights.
  • Lead the business analytics function of the Finance department by providing key insights, measuring initiatives, and training and leading analysts.

 

What You Bring to the Team

  • 7-9 years of progressive experience in Business Analytics, or related work experience, restaurant operations experience a plus.

  • Business Intelligence experience a plus.

  • Proven track record developing and leading enterprise analytics strategies that influence senior leadership.

  • Bachelor's Degree (Business Analytics, Consumer Insights, Data Science, Computer Science, Accounting, Economics or Finance), MBA a plus.

  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem- solving skills. 

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Tableau, and SQL code.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive storytelling skills.

  • Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage and mentor teams while driving enterprise-level transformation.
