Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Security Engineer to join our growing Information Security team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with foundational experience in cybersecurity who are eager to learn and contribute to the protection of our organization's digital assets. You will assist in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, maintaining security tools, and supporting compliance initiatives.
What You Bring to the Team
- Monitor security alerts and logs from various systems (SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection, etc.).
- Assist in investigating and responding to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
- Conduct routine security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Help maintain documentation for security procedures, configurations, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to promote security awareness and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
