This includes investigating system errors, analyzing data discrepancies, and providing solutions. You will conduct root cause analysis, collaborate with IT on permanent fixes, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and analyze emerging issues, think strategically, make sound judgements, and translate solutions into actionable plans for process or financial system enhancements.
  • Develop and execute test cases to validate that bug fixes and other resolutions meet the original business requirements before deployment.
  • Experience, education, and application of accounting principles and practices to be able to be a strategic partner and thinker to both the accounting team and its cross functional partners to improve financial systems.
  • Ability to collaborate and brainstorm with stakeholders and other cross-functional team members (Business Teams, Developers, Business Analysts, and Testers) to produce scalable, efficient, and supportable solutions utilizing Oracle and related technologies.
  • Acts as a liaison between accounting and IT teams to ensure alignment of business needs and financial systems goals.
  • Has Accounting and Business knowledge with some technical aptitude to understand integrations, configurations, and system functionality.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Accounting Degree Preferred.

  • Experience with Reporting Tools (Oracle OTBI, Tableau, SQL Developer).

  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation, testing, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, operate independently, communicate effectively, and solve problems.
